I taught myself to animate on this project and started over a few times which is why it's so inconsistent.

just saw this post, i know what i'm watching on my lunch hour

forgot to watch this. I'll leave tis tab open so's I remember to watch after work

I struggled with the audio quality at times but I thought the way it would randomly change from really lo-fi animation to fairly lo-fi was kind of cool.

Okja sort of vibes in that it makes me think again about trying to go vegan

Needed something to keep me busy during lockdown originally, but I’d been wanting to animate something for years. On to the next one now, I guess.

Loved it! Somewhat reminded me a little bit of an old Soviet cartoon based on a Bradbury's story that I watched when I was little and that traumatized me a little bit

I actually love Soviet animation.

I do too but it has been a long time since I watched anything really. I used to love it obviously growing up but have trouble reconnecting with it. It's effing ironic that as a kid I would've killed for the opportunity to watch the cartoons as much as I wanted because cartoons weren't shown during the week and you could watch them only at the weekend for a couple of hours, while some of them were shown only in summer; and now I can watch the rarest of them at any time but have almost zero interest.

Instead I spent this week rewatching the Soviet Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson TV series. It still holds up

It's actually been considered one of the best TV/film adaptations of the book. It looks super dated now but still holds the charm
