The Ironhorse sounds a little different than the Darkhorse. I`ve had the smaller one for about 6 months and love it.

I find the Traynors to be more responsive and versatile than the Egnater ...

My 60 's tribute goldtop with P90s is made at least as well as any guitar in the same price range. Maybe different caps would have been a better choice but the build is sound. I checked out a Jonas Bros tribute Melody Maker and it seemed like a great little guitar.

Try some out. If you can't decide then don't buy any. Maybe get a little line 6 M5 multieffect because you might not be a "delay guy", it has a kick ass delay, and a whole lot more.

Maybe get rid of the synth player just to be safe?

The fuzzes I've liked the most dial out nicely with the guitar's volume knob. The ones I like the least seem to mask the guitar sound. Lately I've been thinking of just getting a couple good boost pedals. Not even using a compressor anymore.

I really like my 60s reissue with P90s. Gibson made a great affordable guitar which I really enjoy. I am happy to see that they are continuing this trend.

If I just rely on pushing the amp for compression and played out of tune it would be ... envelope filter and delay.
