Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

Today I packed up all of my guitars...nearly...

Post by Thom »

In preparation for moving to Beijing I packed up all my electric guitars, but one, to take over to my parents' for safe keeping.
So what guitar did I decide to keep out to entertain me for the last few weeks in England?
My expensive custom made LP? No.
My sentimentally irreplaceable Jagstang? No.
First LP? Jaguar? Strat? Mercury (lol)? No no no no.

The winner was the cheapest - Squier CV Tele! Made me chuckle but it's such a fabulous guitar it was a pretty easy choice.

Are you not tempted to take the neck off and bung it in your suitcase?

Very! Though more tempted to see what I can find out there - if I take none then I have an excuse to go shopping!

Sorry - missed this, we'll be perfectly free to travel. I need to find out more from my Chinese colleagues about life as a native.

Have just killed an hour looking at Chinese knock off guitars - quite exciting looking at stuff I just can't get in lefty here...narrowed it down to these so far haha!
