What Guitar do you wish you still had?

Epiphone Goth LP. First electric, bought it in beat-to-shit condition off a hardcore band guitarist for ~$100, dealt it a number of injuries like spilling tea all over it and installing teh EMGz, then passed it along to a friend for the same price a few years later. I don't regret selling it to him, but I do want it back.

Haha yeah after getting rid of my Jag-Stang back in the day I was a 25.5 guy for yonks

The Squier zags are really superb, a bit of lemon oil and a setup (I replaced the bridge with a Mustang bridge as I'm a wimp) and it's perfect. Love that guitar.

I've still got every guitar and bass I've ever owned I think. Infact no, my first guitar was a Hondo Les Paul copy that I smashed, it was terrible so I don't wish I still had it.

I only regret 2: I had a early mij squire Strat, the ones that said fender and by squire in tiny letters. The best Strat I've ever played I was a mug and sold it cause it wasn't a REAL fender. The other was a Yamaha sg1300t an ugly beast with a Floyd rose locking nut, but it was a lovely guitar to play and probably the best sounding guitar I've had (definitely the best humbucker guitar I've owned by a good mile).

It needs a new nut, as I tried to put on an Earvana one which didn't work out. I also put in silver lace sensors, but I have no idea where the ones are that you sent it with.

I somewhat regret selling my Mustang bass, but.. only because I gave too much of an brodeal on it, and also because when it was in my possession, it got a good thrashing regularly, but nowadays the most action it sees is playing some reggae. Yuck. And when I say reggae, I mean the white mans reggae, the hideous twin of whitemansbl00z. I shiver just by thinking about it. Poor mustang, I hope they sell(d) it to a more worthy player.

Also really surprised about good ol' Westtexasreds extremely short list!

Sometimes I miss my burns Brian may, but the baja' switching makes it sound very similar.

My goldtop too, but to be honest I'm very content with my strat and tele.

Nah I'm completely skint but the thought is nice. Go for it George it was fucking ace. It's a sixties Mustang neck on there too.

I think this one strikes me as having the most regret, probably because I didn't really give it a fair chance, and had no reason to sell it. It played perfectly with low action and no dead spots (shortscale, and really the tiniest yet still chunky enough neck-played like a toy but in a good way), the pickups were fantastic-they were VERY microphonic and prone to feedback, but clean it sounded amazing. It was tiny, lightweight, and cool as hell. I think I had just bought something I felt obligated to sell something to pay for, so despite selling several other guitars, I listed this in the classifieds for a bit more than I paid for it as part of a last in first out thing. Someone (who doesn't post here anymore, mind) jumped on it so I felt I had no reason not to sell it-he seemed very smitten with it after receiving it so I do feel it found a good home. It was probably one of the most fun guitars I've owned in the short time I had it. "KAYCEE" was inscribed in gold stickers, but I think the real brand was either TrueTone or Sekova.

I've bought and sold quite a lot but can't think of anything I regret. There are a few parts I regret selling, such as a vintage Mustang bridge and trem I sort of wish I still had now, not for a particular guitar but they'd be good for parts guitars that cross my mind from time to time.

For a little while I regretted selling the Ibanez Artist I had (sold it to Fran), but I've since bought a Westbury which is fairly similar in feel. Pretty much every time I've bought a guitar I've bought it as though it's a deposit on a rental. Pay Â£300 for it now and when I decide I don't want it any more sell it for Â£300.

I think I also only own one guitar (Squier Jazz Bass) that I would regret selling due to attachment, anything else I own I still own because either I haven't got around to selling or simply the value to me is greater than the market value.

I had a Duo-Sonic stolen in Baltimore, the guitar theft capital of the world. Despite it's affordability, I've missed it. Not really keen on replacing it though. Bought a few other guitars since and really enjoy playing them, but that guitar was a real fun one and so easy to just throw around recklessly.

I don't miss anything particularly, although the blue miekstang was lovely to look at. I get made to feel guilty for selling my Silvertone 1448 as my girlfriend loved it, but I don't really GAF. The guitars I have now are all I ever wanted, and selling other things paid for them.
