'80 les paul standard into a tuner, into mbm dreambox, into catalinbread sft, into sole-mate, into bronco.
AWESOME combo even though the little 8" speaker does fizzle out a bit with a lot of gain.
I am really liking these old amps, I put my DRRI up for sale in hopes of buying something a bit bigger, knock on wood I will have an update soon
Here's an impromptu clip of me playing this eve, with the above setup....
( YOU TUBE LINK FAIL AGAIN GRRRR)
Using OCD / GOLDEN EAGLE / CS3 (+ first half RV3)
Flicking between Cool Rails in Bridge and Japanese Jag bridge Pickup fitted in Neck position.
Don't expect you to take much from this clip, seeing as it's recorded with an iphone but whatever lol.
That's a very very nice guitar. Does it have its own thread?finboy wrote:

Picked up a space echo and big muff tone wicker, it needs new tape but still sounds great.

Thanks guys! I'm really pleased with the new addition. (That's the 1972 YGA-3A Mark III, atop the bottom 2x12 cab, for those unfamiliar with my setup.)
It's basically a Twin running a quartet of 6CA7 tubes so hot that it has a fan factory installed behind them to cool them down. It uses a EL84 to drive the tremolo, which I thought is a bit unusual. Overall, it's a bright, clean machine that comes out sounding a good deal more compressed and bass heavy than a regular Twin. So far, I'm liking it a lot. Takes pedals exceptionally well, as you would imagine.
James, you can always crash a brother's couch but I warn you to bring some mittens because winter just got VERY real here, these last few days.

Tim how does the snow white differ from the Qtron? I have the mini qtron (still a massive enclosure) so what are the differences between that and the one you have?
