I love the cij offsets, but they've all had such fucking bad nuts. I've had 3 and all 3 had the high e waaaaaay to close to the edge of the fretboard and it'd fall off. It was like I was playing a rickenbacker.

That's weird. I have 3 Japanese fenders, and the nuts have been uniformly great. Much better than any other guitars I've had. Maybe I've been lucky/you've been unlucky.

Wow, I'm not normally a fan of 3TS, but with that white pickguard and the aged pickup covers it looks amazing on a Jag! Nice job.

If the high E was to close to the edge it could've been that the neck wasn't on quite straight. I'd guess that more than the nut being bad.

Sorry mate, I've put it on my Squier Jazzmaster for the time being, although I will probably buy an AVRI unit for it as well, eventually.
For what it's worth, I reckon the Squier unit is better/smoother than the CIJ – the AVRI easily trumps them both though.
ah, it's a locking one i'm after, i don't really use the trem and i like the tension when it's locked.
