Ain't that peculiar? Burns Double Six trem

Post by NickS »

As you may know, I have a Baldwin/Burns Double Six electric 12-string. I was looking for a value for insurance when I stumbled on this Australian page.
http://blackguitars.com/burns-double-6.html
It includes detailed pictures of an older (1964) Burns version of the Double Six with tremolo. The weird thing I noticed is that the tremolo only operates on alternate strings
How weird would that sound?

Truly insane. I could probably do the same with the combo top-loader/string-through bridge on this:

(but I would never)
