Re: Behringer Chorus Symphony
the thing has a fuckin dip switch inside it that you can switch the buffer to turn it into a preamp when turned off.

Re: Behringer Chorus Symphony
I bet Boss wish they'd reissued the CE-1 now...
I get a feeling all of these Behringer "vintage" purposely fall into a way-greyer area of trade dress copyright shit - I remember when they first shared the original designs of the Boss compact pedal rip-offs, they were near identical to Boss and shit kicked off.
I guess we're kinda in the wild west nowadays anyways; Behringer obviously have good lawyers and a bunch of lawyer pay saved from using sweatshops to pass the savings ONTO YOOOOU

Re: Behringer Chorus Symphony
I feel like modern Boss don't do straight up RIs, there is a CE-1 mode inside the CE-2W and the DM-101 which I just picked up has a very faithful BBrigade chorus in it.Doog wrote: Wed Jan 29, 2025 8:22 am I bet Boss wish they'd reissued the CE-1 now...

Not saying I wouldn't spray a wad in my shorts if they did; but I reckon if they were ever to do something like that it would be like a CE-101 or MM-101 and it would be like 400-500 bucks-ish, and have the preamp in and chorus/vibrato mode but then also the Roland AP-x series of Flangers and maybe like a nice Tremolo/Univibe that runs on a real or AIRA-based optocoupler or something.
