Hell no. It would be really smart. Especially if you got it from somewhere with a return policy. Even if you didnt, you'd probably make your money back in the event that it sucked.

If you can find a local GC that has them in stock, Monday they will have everything on sale. My local store got one in yesterday and I played it today. Nice guitar. They told me that they can get it to me for $659 and if they have a case for it (they didn't check) the case would be like $50.

I might have to return the Takamine 12 string I got (still under 30 days) and get one. Seriously debating it.
