i like pedals that clean up nicely with your volume pot on the guitar. i find some pedals struggle with this. my tonebender and classic fuzz clean up really well. the DLS cleans up nice to. the tubescreamer tends to lose more volume than the others. i just leave it set as a slightly dirt boost.
i have a new pedal, fran came over with his crybaby wah, which gave him my Boss digital metalizer. he also took my power driver too. the wah is pretty much brand new, even got the plastic still on it. it's just the standard model, but it sounds more balanced than my old one. the switch was going in my old one. might sell it cheap for some one to mod/fix up.

Aye i love my Mister Crybaby Wah, which i believe is just a standard crybaby with a passive volume thing. It goes well with distorted tones too, unlike my other wahs i've had, which just sounds like "one or the other" as far as "sweep" goes

Switched the Box of Rock out for some Cake action. I wanted more versatility, and i got that, but the Box of Cake just booms low end and cuts out a lot of trebble, which isn't useful for a rythm pedal for my tastes. The higher strings just sing but the lower ones literally boom on the higher gain settings. Might have to switch back to the box of rock, we'll see.

not my board, but its something i'd admire: something old/something new, cheap & boutique, DIY & "off-the-shelf." et cetera. a nice contrasting mix&match. normally i'd roll my eyes at the Eventide Timefactor but somehow it seems to work w/ that set-up: seems both functional & versatile.
