it started out with a red sparkle finish, so I stripped it and painted it, but I did a pretty bad job.
it looks good from far away, but up close you can see how bad it is. it's a beater guitar anyways so I don't mind.
the pickguard was white and with the slightly off white of the paint and yellow pickups it looked pretty gross.
i bought a can of flat black spray paint and did the guard with a bunch of coats and im pretty happy with it.

thanks for the kind words!

top row l-r =
1. el degas p-bass with awesome humbucker (don't know anything about it, apparently its a late 70s?)
2. Squier Bronco, stock.
3. Jedsen SG bass, shortscale, super fun to play
4. Epi LP Custom, 2001, my first guitar, got it cheap because of the horse painted on it
5. Rob(OG) Custom DuoSonicII, a non-short-scale duo.
6. Epi Broadway

bottom row l-r=
1. CIJ Jazzmaster, guitar I play most,
2. Dillion Jazz copy, its been in pieces the past year, finally put it together, the p-90s sound great to me. sprayed the pickguard black.
3.Squier Telecaster, gfs fatbody in the bridge, tuned to C
4. Dan Armstrong lucite guitar, original run, got from dads friend. the bridge is terrible and the pickup is pretty bad, but it looks cool.
Those Dan Armstrongs are great guitars! Greg Ginn from Black Flag played one. The originals are highly sought after... if you ever decide you want to sell it, PM me!

The reissues seem to be going for little more. Odd.

the reissues have those sweet adjustable bridges, the one I've got is just a slanted wood saddle like an acoustic.
I'd love to be able to adjust it a bit but there's not much you can do

If you had one i'd have robbed it from you by now. Your jag fetched a pretty penny. £28 plus a bag of crack down the vine bar, to be exact.

PROTIP: Don't quote a long-ass post with pictures and videos, especially when all you have to say is something short and useless. kthxbai.
