The picks arrival coincided with me stealing my flatmates soundcard and trying out some DAWs and various plugins, so I did AN RIFFs through terrible metal presets in Guitar Rig 4.

Purples FTW.

James wrote:buying the dollars as I did resuted in a pleasant surprise. I was expecting to mostly be having $100 notes, with the final $100 worth being made up of smaller denominations. The envitable line about 'the Benjamins' would get a little use. It turns out I only have two Benjamins but I'm quite stocked up on the Uylsses' which is also the book I plan to read on my journey over there. All I knew until a few minutes ago was that the guy's surname was Grant but he's now representing my denomination of choice thanks to a novel I haven't even read.

I currently have one of every denomination except $2, but I hear Jefferson was a prick anyway.
yea, like ends said, they don't circulate $2 bills anymore. I think they still print them though. I have a sheet of 4 of them that I bought at the mint in DC. also, recently I was at McDonalds and I got a $2 bill for completing some health survey. that was cool.

the cool new US currency to look for is the gold $1 coins. they're not very popular for some reason. however, I have noticed they're commonly used to give you change from fair card machines (thankfully. do not want $4 in quarters). I think they have washington on them. the first ones had Sacajawea on them, which was way cooler. I was trying to get people to start calling them "gold sacs" haha.

Actually there were a few spares and we took the Icey picks from those so nobody should be short. It's possibly a miscount.

I assure you there must be at least a few miscounts out there a few over and a few under here and there. I was counting plectrums till my eyes went fuzzy. But like James said we have a few left over. If you're real miffed about it I can send you a green. ;)

Nooo, can't believe I didn't get in on this. Are there any blue or purples left to buy?

Well it's bad news on the arrival front. The post has been and they weren't with it. There is a chance they'll come later, it seems unlikely but the last packages I had came at around 2pm.

I'll have my parents get in touch when they do arrive and I'll leave Mike's address here. If it's at all complicated they can send them on to you, Mike (after taking mine out of course) and if not I'll have them send them direct. I'll also leave a replacement label for Reece's envelope.

I assume the Royal Mail strikes are supposed to make you realise how important their services are and feel that they deserve a higher wage as a result. All I think of it is 'bunch of cunts'. I don't know the full details but I find it hard to believe conditions are going to be that bad that they should be striking so often.

Their big strike starts on 22nd apparently, it's going to be glorious for business. I'm frantically attempting to finish all builds before then.

Send them on to me like I said and it's all good for me to sort it if your parents can't be arsed.

i seriously think the royal mail wants to be bought out by deutschepost, cos if they carry on with this lark that's what's going to happen.

I really hope we can get these out before then. I'd hate for themn to finally arrive here only for people to still be waiting for them in a few weeks time.

I think it should work out fine for them to send them on. I'll have them describe the contents to me just in case, but hopefully it will just be a case of taking my plectrums out, sticking a new label on Reece's envelope and taking them all to the post office.

I'm 100% behind Royal Mail. I'll put up with some inconvenience if it helps them.

I hope Gavin's Duo Sonic is lost in the post forever.

I am 100% behind Royal Mail doing this.

More seriously, I'm probably behind them too in reality. The service under normal circumstances is superb. I've never had a letter lost and next day with first class is as reliable as paul_ joke. I'm just a bit annoyed because I've had several inconveniences through this latest round of action (these plectrums, having to pay more to buy dollars as I couldn't rely on the delivery and a few other minor things).

i've always had good success with royal mail. parcels do arrive in good time and never had damaged goods or had to chase stuff.

I might actually be working for them if I don't get the job I just had an interview for. The Christmas post is hiring and I presume they're gonna need a ton of extra staff to cope with the strike backlogs.

Sorry to be a pain but are there any blues or purples left? I'd well be up for buying some to spread the shortscale word.
