It tends to be only the higher end stuff like a Les Paul Custom that has ebony. Ebony looks so good though. Ebony, white binding and no inlays would look so good on a les paul.

wow thanks for sharing, long time buckethead fan and thats awesome that he got a signature guitar.

not exactly like the one he plays though
his isn't chambered and doesn't have a maple cap

also, 27" Scale length, wtf? they got the 24 frets going though

the last 3 times i've seen him live [over the last year and a half] he played a white LP Custom [black headstock] with duncans. it did have his ebony/no inlay neck though so i'm thinking it may have been a prototype all along, WHO KNOWS!

yeah, I'm not huge Buckethead fan but I can appreciate his talent. I really love that guitar though...

definitely a few differences between the two.. buckethead's personal model has a weird Diamond inlay like a custom and only one kill switch, whereas the Gibson one has two kill switches (double the death?!)...

if you read the Gibson description you keep seeing the words "oversized" in the description, I wonder how much bigger it is...

Headstock (cosmetic) and humbucker (subjective) aside, I dont see a problem here.
