Mike,

This weekend I had to open up one of my guitars to fix some grounding issues. Besides the futility that I call soldering, I think I had the wrong size/type of solder and the wrong type of wire. What is the best kind of solder and wire to use for guitar pots and pedals? Do you have a particular soldering iron you recommend? I used one I bought at local hardware store and it doesn't work that great. Thanks.

What color LEDs do you have available for your pedals?

Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow, purple? and white.

purple is more 'spensive

I'll check out the Tonepad PCB, some searching around has shown some common modifications to the circuit that i'm interested in.

depth pot
dpdt on/off/on to switch caps for the lfp rate
pulsing led
mix pot
stereo output [not a wet/dry]

some people are putting a delay time pot but i'm not sure i'd be interested in that.

Tonelab's ordering page shows the regular small clone pcb and the "Stereo add-on board" is this something that i will also need to send you?

I don't mean to be rude, but if you want all those mods on the same pedal, it will not be cheap.

You could either order the Stereo board or I could make one myself, it's not big.

With all of the extra pots and jacks I wouldn't be surprised. I would be more than happy with the overall build if it could be done under the Â£150 mark

That would definitely be possible I think, you'd have to forward the details of all the mods though so I could get my head around them and order all the correct parts etc.

Certainly. It may be another month or so before the ground breaking ceremony but I'll gather up the details on the varius modifications and pass them along.

Yo Mike, would it be possible to add a voltage sag control with a momentary switch to the Fuzz War?

I'm not convinced that would make it sound any better or different to be honest - that circuit is fucking barmy as it is.

I love the way the knobblies are laid out. Really smart and should save some pedalboard space aswell.

No time for me personally to do demos I'm afraid kids, I'm sure Isaac will make a great one.

Taylor's Pedals are done!

As are these for non shortscale customers. That blender was too tight, next time I'm shifting the LEDs to next to teh footswitches instead of on top.

Saltbooster is Saltbooster v2 - with space for battery support if needed. All will look like this now I think.

yes. and I only install a clip if someone says they NEED to use battery power (also ships with battery in this case for Â£5 extra)

What a phenomenal job, Mike! You work very quickly. I am so glad we went with the white for the booster/breaker pedal. That Wayne's World graphic looks perfect. Benecol, you did a great job on the decals. First rate work. I can't wait to step on Garth's head! I can't wait to hear them both and play with WAAYYY switch. The gold Fuzzface looks particularly delicious with the Boss knobs. I will do demos of both pedals with my AVRI Jag and my Squier Duo Sonic after I get them. I am very stoked.
