Does anyone know what guitar graham coxon uses in the video for song 2?

It's never on screen long enough for me to get a good look at it... It definetly looks like something I have never seen before...

Hayman or Shergold

I believe the 6 string bass was used on "Closer" by Joy Division, there are specific tracks that stand out for the usage of it, but I can't remember them at this moment and can't listen to the album right now.

Looks like a Phase 2 model if memory serves me right. On a good day you can find them on ebay for £250, which is decent considering it is one of the best UK built guitars you'll find.

Should have stated 'Hayman'. You'll be pushed to find any Shergold cheap. But yeah, not long ago i stopped bidding on one around £220... it went for £250.

Yeah, the six-strings were played on most of Closer, as well as a few of the B-sides. Atmosphere is a really good example of it.

It's just impossible to find the six-strings now because Hooky keeps tracking them down and adding them to his collection. He's got quite a few now.

I seem to remember music ground or somewhere in manchester having a white one recently for a ridiculous amount of money. Or maybe it was a 12 string, i cannae mind.

That bass is an Eccleshall, I think they're neat, but it just makes me want to try a Gibson EB-2 really bad:

This was my original alternative to my RI Mustang Bass. But then my friend noticed that a finnish douchy progband uses it, so
I went with the Mustang. Off topic, I know, but id like to see how well it stacks against that Gibson. Or a Guild Starfire (=bonartown 4 me).

Well the pickups are really different there, the Gibson one is that giant ass EB-0 style neck one that gets really "farty" like Jack Bruce in Cream, the Epiphone one has a Jack Casady special one, so it's probably meant to sound like Jefferson Airplane recordings (well as close as Epiphone can affordably get to that). Which reminds I got dragged to this nerdy video game conference in Boston last month and they had a Rock Band competition and this chick sang White Rabbit so well that I wanted to propose to her.

The Guild Starfire would have a sound more similar to the Gibson is my guess (neck pickup, looks similar to the Gibson one)...

But without really playing them all who knows, different value potentiometers and capacitors can make huge differences in sound.
