Been there for a long time. If it sells, it'd be one of the top 5 most expensive guitars.

I don't think they're in a rush, hence why it's not an auction. They're content to let it sit at that price until they have a buyer, knowing it might take years.

wow. So, is it still on display in the Rock and Rall hall of fame? For some reason i was reading about the beatles gear yesterday, it said this was put in the Cleveland R&R hall of fame.

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame's Website says that their Beatle Collection (Link)

"includes two Rickenbacker guitars, one played by Lennon and the other used by George Harrison."
