No problem, my pleasure.Mike wrote:Yep, it's for your buddy. Thanks for recommending me to him.
I think Benecol did amazing work on this one, it looks so slick. I really like the Boss and Pointer knobs too.
Ahh man, can't wait to hear what it sounds like!! It looks the business! Well done on the design Benecol!

Yeah, normally I have one board on it's side on the base of the case behind the footswitches, but both the OCD and the TS-808 boards are too tall for that by like one or two strips annoyingly.
When I came to try to fit it all in I was like "ARGH SHITE FUCK BUGGERY", but then I figured it out. The bottom board is affixed to the "top" of the pedal via adhesive foam pads, and the one that appears to be floating was affixed to the lid or "base" of the pedal before tightening screws. It's tight as hell for sure, but the solid-core wire and adhesive pads should keep everything from moving about unduly.
If I have to make another I might see if we can do something with the DC and Audio Jack placement so I can lie the other board on top of the pots instead.

Well all the artwork credit goes to Benecol for the design and crowley himself for the original concept, I just drill, paint, apply decals and clearcoat.
I'm pretty happy with the way the wiring is going these days though, using those little bits of heatshrink to group cables definitely makes things tidier!
