i think mperson is referring to the little white pedal with blue writing and single knob next to the silver marshall pedal. my guess is a saltbooster mini

Wait... so total sonic annihaltion is just a simple feedback loop?

WHY THE HELL ARE DEATH BY AUDIO CHARGING £100 FOR THEM?

i've acquired a line 6 pod 2.0 from my mate. he's going off to uni and wanted to de-clutter. though it would come in handy for home recording, practising with headphone. some nice crunch/drive sound, not so keen on the cleans yet though only just got it. plus it was free, so fair gain i say.

any one got one and give me some tips on it, apart from smash it
might try and find a foot switch for it.

risking to say the obvious, but.. pour beer on it?

i have that thing too, got it in a similar way as you. didn't really like the cleans too, crunch sounds are OK, metal sounds are too boomy for my taste. but yeh, pretty good for headphone practice.
i like chocolate, i like fudge
if i can't make any, i won't budge

I grabbed one of those GFS tuners and it was awesome.
Sadly, it fell off the top of my amp (should have been on the floor) and the button smashed out of it...

So... don't let it fall off stuff.

I've played a friend's POD XT, same feeling about the cleans, they just weren't cutting it for me. It was great fun scrolling through the artist presets and riffing all of the classic songs out. I remember Cliffs Of Dover being spot in all aspects, the modern metal stuff like disturbed was all spot on, all of the classic rock song presets had about 15% too much gain, and the AC/DC stuff was insulting

About 15% too much? Three twentieths too much? Christ, that's precise.
