i think they're all pretty ugly, and i hate lipstick pickups in anything (except dano's).

that top one in the OP is the same scheme as my old surf green sonoran SCE. BLECH

I'd love a Surfcaster . They're pretty unique . I remember Scott Ian from Anthrax used to play one. I'm kinda on the fence with Lipsticks though like the Danos but good Lipstick pickups sound awesome . I don't care for the Danos . Danelectros are guitars I just wanna love but can't . They look great but selling the point of masonite guitars with cheap shitty plastic knobs and drab feel they can keep em. Jerry Jones on the other hand....... And the Surfcasters just sound awesome . The pickups are bright and jangly like a toaster or a tron but thinner sound .. I like it .
I think there is a company that makes a Surfcaster-esque guitar .. Still not cheap but nice....

TOMMY VICTOR from fucking PRONG was another reason i wanted a Surfcaster.
He used one on this album, one of my favorite Metal rhythm players.

Droooooooollllll. Damn I gave up getting one of these a long time ago but I think out of most other guitars I would love to spend an afternoon with one of these more than any other guitar and at least then I could put to bed my life time lusts or know I need to make it a priority to get one.

i like ibanez talmans too. they kinda remind me of each other.
the talman i played (it was a former bandmate's) had either two humbuckers or HSS, i don't remember.
anyhoo, they didn't make them very long.
