. You missed you're calling. Do similar and pedal on eBay after taking a fluorescent spray paint to the body like this

What a Fuuuuucking Liberty!!! Thats our Welsh heritage there're messing with there!
Actually, I've thought of doing this a few times as a sideline kitchen table business for myself. Get parted out junkers off ebay and fix them up into playable workmanlike guitars to sell on.

For the teenagers of the 80s and other secret Marlin lovers, a rare "Blue Fin" model has turned up on eBay. Modded though..

See, I borrowed one a few years ago when I was between guitars for a month or so. Even with my mad setup skills, it was a shit sandwich.

I repaired one for a customer that traded a Squier Standard Strat in for it. I was impressed. Relatively speaking of course, we are talking about guitars in a certain value bracket here.
Had a lot of repairs pass through my hands and in my opinion these are great second hand guitars at sub-£100. I've had some proper shit pass through my hands made by big name companies.

pretty sure I had a marlin practice amp at one point.. it did no sound good but then again I couldn't really play at the time, so who knows.
