The RIs aren't shit, that's about the going rate. And the new MIJs will be far more expensive again.

$1500 is the low end of normal for a M/CIJ in decent condition. If it checks out, it's a decent price; not amazing, but decent. You'd be hard pressed to get a Fender VI, whether VI/Bass VI or a Jaguar VI/Jaguar Baritone Custom for less than $1200 these days, and less than $1500 is tough too. Generally they go for or above $2000.

Haven't heard about these rumors. When do you all think that Fender Japan might reissue it again? How expensive are we talking?
