Dorm Room amp

Dorm Room amp
What is a good, quiet amp for a dorm room. Ill have my pedalboard so FX are not necessarily needed.
Unfortunately mine died yesterday, fried a resistor, but I've loved the sound from my Fender Champ 600. A lot of people recommend a speaker upgrade, but all I did was take the back off and have the back pointing towards me and it sounds lovely. I do miss having an EQ, but I usually just go straight into it, if you're using your pedals with it I'm sure you'd be able to dial in what you're after.

I second the Champion 600/Gretsch G5222.
They sound great and they take pedals well.
I used one as my gigging amp for a while when my main amp was down for the count for a while. I just put it up on a chair and mic'd it. Got lots of questions after shows. "how'd you get that sound with that tiny little radio thing??"
I sold my 600 to my cousin, but I'm pretty sure I'll get another at some point. They really are a lot better than you'd think for their size.

I love Jaguars!!
The THRs have some special stereo field thing going on, you can turn it off in the software when connected to a PC. Not that you would ever want too.

Kustom Contender

Sounds fucking awesome. Takes pedals well, gets nice and bassy and loud as hell when cranked. I put it through a 1x10 and it literally shook my window, it was fucking cool.
I like volume at noon, bright switch on, bass at 3:00, treble at 2:00, master up high, and a RAT set up as a thick fuzz, and neck pickup to get the fuzz from

I forgot to mention that the Kustom Contender also has a master volume, an 8 ohm speaker out, and a headphone jack as well. You can play as loud as you like without bothering anyone else.
