everything about this guitar sucks ass, except for the neck!
tho the binding is super think and i suspect its actually figured maple.

It's not actually bound. They route a channel in the neck for the fretboard, so it looks kind of like binding but isn't. I suspect it would be a real pain if you needed to have the guitar refretted.

o bullshit, fucking flat ass fucking radiused board. bahhhhh humbug!!!!
my old teacher released some archtops a few years ago that had the same sort of fretboard/neck dealio, and made some fretboards with "blind" fret ends. or rather, each fret slot was cut, but not to the ends.
I remember trying both, and was kinda.... i dunno, let down, you would think it would be wicked awesome badass or something, but in reality you don't realize it.
