Jazz Bass Knobs vs Jaguar knobs

Are Fender Jazz Bass knobs (larger ones) the same size as standard Fender Jaguar knobs?

I have always wanted different color Jaguar knobs for Mustangs and Jaguars but never found anything but black.

I even found Jazz Bass knobs in a variety of colors but have never had them side by side to compare them.

I wouldn't even mind if they were a slight bit larger than Jaguar knobs if they would attach properly.

I might go ahead and order a set to compare them.

In addition to black, they had aged white, green, red,blue purple and brown.

Even if I end up with the extra small knob I could possibly use it later.

I ordered the Jazz bass knobs off Amazon.

The knobs have brass inserts and set screws.


The smaller knob is bigger than the knobs on my MBM Fuzzface.

The larger knobs are not as big as standard black Mustang/Jaguar knobs. They kinda remind be of some of the old Japanese Fender knobs.



If you have a guitar project, these could be a cool option for you.

They almost look the part, gotta say I prefer the more rounded edges of the Jaguar/Mustang knobs

I totally agree about preferring the rounded knobs. The only problem is you can only get black knobs from Fender/Squier.

For $7 they were pretty good knobs.
