My Holy Grail

Just over 15 years ago I bought a Boss HF-2 Hi Band Flanger from Tim (@benecol). Alongside the pedal when I received it were a pair of red and pink polka dot shoes for Amelie who must have been under 1 at the time. It was a hugely touching gesture, and I have photos of Amelie wearing the shoes somewhere.
I sold the pedal a couple of years later to someone here, I don’t remember who, and have on and off wanted to get another one ever since. On one hand because it can get more subtle than your regular flanger, but mainly for sentimentality.
I have probably done a search on eBay/Reverb once or twice a year, and whilst there have been plenty for sale they’ve all been a bit rough and I wanted one in good condition to match the original. This weekend I found a super clean one on eBay and it arrived today. Super happy.

Does it sound as good as you remember? Memory can be a tricky thing to live up to.

I’ll be honest, I have no idea what it sounded like - I was massively sleep deprived and everything from back then is a blur! Remember liking it though and I very much still do
