When they did the mystery box, the AU/NZ orders were 300 of 10,000... after a short delay to get the pedals down-under, mine turned up pretty quick.
So I'm hoping if the proportions hold up similarly, I might jump the queue a bit. If not, it'll be a cool xmas present to myself!

This other pre-order turned up today though:

"Brutal" might be the best description. It has a very distinctive character.
But with the extra synth modes there's a range of sounds you can coax out of it, so it's not just full on dentist drill.

They've been clever with the options for gas pedal (although I wish it had a proper exp input you could direct to the "mod" knob) to make it very playable. Have been using the volume swell option to bring it in and out as a sort of industrial drone.

Certainly not for everyone, although it feels like the kind of pedal you could build an entire band around. Like Justin Pearson and his use of the PLL.

Got mine last week, havent had enough time to really play with it but in the few hours i have had Iโ€™m really liking it. Definitely can replace a few pedals on my board but I need a proper midi switcher to access everything I want. Need to dive more into all the alt controls, and the less conventional modes, but I can get a good tape delay, reverb, chorus and phaser out of it without too much trouble. Really very versatile.

Yeah August 1st, mid afternoon our time. From what Iโ€™ve seen elsewhere they are still on day 1 orders. There must have been a lot!

I did, and I sold it in a week haha

It just didn't do enough for me for the money; the main selling point for me, the synth, was a lot more glitchy in practise, meaning they either cherry-picked the samples in the videos or they tweaked the algorithms since. Plus, it had always-on modulation, ew.

And, unsurprisingly, the alt knobs thing became annoying veeeeery quickly, as you've got like 6 algos worth of 'alts' to remember, just in the way of the "eyes rolled back into skull" flow state I like to experience in a pedal

One day I'll learn
