I'm about to reconfigure things on my board and needed more patch cables, which means more pancake plugs. Previously, I've used Hicon ones which always seemed to be about as slim as you could get. Better still, Aliexpress and the likes are filled with copies/unbranded versions, so they are readily available and cheap.
I've always been a little irritated by how much space the take up on the surface of the pedal, though, and although I haven't yet got to the point where I've had to file away sections of the case, there have been a few close calls.

However, I did find patch cables already made up with what looks a lot like SP400-a-like plugs on them. If you search for the brand "Miwayer" you find them.
Miwayer Patch Cables
These come with suspiciously familiar looking plugs on them, and are roughly £2 per cable, or £1 per plug. Perfect. I can replace the cable later. Although I'm not entirely certain that they will fit comfortably over the Sommer Spirit cable that I usually use.
They arrived yesterday and they certainly look lower profile. This will probably be my source of pancake plus from now on. I imagine the plugs themselves will appear for sale at some point.
MASSIVE CAVEAT TO ALL OF THIS: I had imagined that the SP400 was being made by some massive company, but googling found a TGP thread where it sounds like it's a bit of a labour of love by one guy.
And now I feel a bit shitty. But do with it what you want.
