i got S/T, lets go, out come the wolves, and life won't wait all on tapes.
not sure what he has done since highschool though. other than that song he and kurdt wrote for that chick that sounds like courtney that i post all the time.
Yeah, it has always been 299 to 349 range. Played one once. Not bad for a Fender acoustic, kind of how some 100 guitars still play and sound OK. but with acoustics I really do think the quality of the wood and preamp/pickup both make a huge difference, whereas on an electric you can change all of that shit out for less than a hand job from Chico. Not so easy on an acoustic. In other words, decent low level acoustic electric that has a cool look to it and sounds "ok" plugged in. Sounded worse than my $179 Great Divide backup acoustic and tons worse than my $800 Takamine main acoustic.
But I have always been a bit biased against Fender acoustics. I have never heard one live that sounded good plugged in and I have run sound for probably 100 people playing Fender acoustics at different jams, etc and they always sound thin unless the owner had modded them or spent alot of $ getting them professionally set up and adjusted.
They say great minds think alike....Sometimes we do too...

I agree. I've never been a fan of fender acoustics.
